Emergency Community Rescue

ECR

A communities ability to maintain a minimum level of function, when faced with infrastructure outages, or emergencies, saves lives in community resilience.

A power cut, while an annoyance for some, can be life threatening to others.  No heat, or access to hot food also has a knock on effect to the NHS who have to treat any injuries or illness that may result.

We also provide lowland Search and Rescue for missing persons in our community

Alness First Responders are also members of 'Emergency Community Rescue', more details on how to get involved can be found here

It's about supporting our community and those in it by making sensible preparations and using the skills and knowledge that the community already has.
